Looking to get a sturdy folder for between $100-150. Got it narrowed to these 3. What would you guys recommend? Strength and durability are primary, with cutting ability secondary.

Can't really go wrong with either one. The AD10 is a tank and has a very comfortable handle, but the AD15 carries a bit smaller so I prefer it. The UH is similar to the AD10 but less bulky. The 10 and 15 have liners, while the UH does not, so they could be considered stronger. But either one should be plenty strong.

strength of lock wise...ad10 and ultimate hunter will be bout the same. ad15 is no slouch but isn't as strong and doesn't do as well on spine whacks, not that ya need to do that...but Demko said it didn't do as well from his testing in the past.

size and use wise I prefer the ad15 myself....and its a strong lock but not as strong as the tri-ad.

I have carried voyagers for years since the first model replaced my buck 110. I was using the new drop point voyager until I bought the new AD-10. It has replaced the voyager for sure.. I have both pre and post GSM models and both seem identical to me and are very user friendly. I recommend the AD-10 over anything else not just other Cold Steel models. Great choice.

the ultimate hunter is the lightest and easiest to carry of the three and makes a better edc in my opinion, its a very underrated knife but still plenty strong due to the triad lock

another one to look at too is the drop point 4 inch voyager, it has a similar blade shape and is very good for the price

i just saw that they are coming out with an all black version of the ad10, i think ill pick this one up when its available

The Ultimate Hunter might be a consideration later. Lighter than the AD10, still very strong, and very slicy. Easier to edc and a very good work knife.
