this has probably already been done but i am not sure. but back to the point this works better if you have or handled both. if you can only have one (even if you already have both) which one would you have.

I have know there was a poll butthat was over all the EDC this one is just the AD and MS.

it would be cool also if you could give why you like the other one more... :p

I like the AD better for EDC, but I think the LMr is a better hunting blade in some respects because of its shape and slightly longer blade. The LMr puts me in mind of the Buck 110 in terms of blade shape, and that is a classic hunting blade.

Still... six one way, half-a-dozen the other.

For each, I like the thin slicers. The 2007 SE versions are great in this regard.

I figured BG meant Meaner or Leaner Meaner and not the original Mean Street.

so to talk about the newer ones i say MrS?

Yes MrS and LMrs, difference is that the pre 2007 LMrS is .15 thick and/or sabber grind and the pre 2007 MrS is a full flat grind and .24. The ones produced in 2007 were .17 (I think) also some were Saber and some flat so who knows what you'd call them:confused:

Here they are next to the MS. You can see that the MS is a bit smaller.

I've been using Lean Meaner Streets for the post 2007 blades.

The Milli's (sage, muddy, black) came in around .2 they're saber ground.

I was doing that too until they flat ground the SE and a few customs I got that are .17, so that is why I have no idea what to call them any more.

Yes, Mr stands for Meaner and S for street

The Mean Street and Meaner Street are very differant.

The MrS and LrMrS(leaner ones) are my favorite Busse, the look really gets me.
The AD is a better knife for EDC though, IMO (only because it's a bit smaller)

I like 'em both, but I think the AD is the most perfect fit in my hand of ANY EDC blade EVER.

I never held either before I got the set in the Milliganzaa this spring, so I got one of each on the same day. All the while I thought it would be the MrS; until I got that AD in my hand. It's my go-to *almost* every day.

I love 'em both... but I EDC an AD... more of an all purpose working blade to me. Thicker tip, yet still sharp, especially on the heavy AD's. If I were carrying for more of a SD situation, I'd switch to a Meaner or LMrS for that, but to me the AD is more suited for a wider variety of tasks.

I prefer my MrS. Its extra length doesn't make concealed EDC any tougher for me since I'm tall. I also made a sheath that carried it deeper. I prefer the blade shape and tail of the MrS as well.

If I could just pick one small fixed blade knife, it would be my AD.
