AD10 vs AD15? Is it just the lock?

These both look like nice knives and I am a fan of just about everything AD designs, but reading the specs of these the only thing I see that really distinguishes them is the lock. What am I missing?

On a separate note - I have a 4max and SR-1. Both are beefy blades, although the 4max is a pretty good cutter with the broad blade and 20CV. The SR-1 is thick and tough.
What do I get with a AD10/15 blade that I don't get with either the 4max or SR-1.
Trying to see where these would fit in.
thank

The AD10 is basically a smaller 4-Max...believe the blade is 3.5”.

The AD15 has a very similar blade as the 10, but scorpion lock instead of triad.

Also, I believe the AD10 is hollow ground, while the 15 is flat grind.

ETA: Sorry, the CS catalog says they are both Sabre grind

similar designs and yes different lock. The scorpion lock Is a lot of fun to play with. The $650 version from Demko isn't worth the money, but the production version should sell like crazy as its a fantastic knife and design. I can't wait to personally see how similar it is because he says its essentially "identical"

If the AD10 is basically a smaller 4 Max, the Ultimate Hunter is basically a smaller version of the 4 Max and cheaper than the AD10. I m having a hard time deciding about the ad10, since I already have 2 UH s (black and orange) with cts xhp steel. For the same length blade and 2 more oz of weight, are the liners really worth it? Not to me.

I just like most of demko designs. especially these two. been waiting for them. scorpion lock is a plus on the ad-15.

Based on the CS 4-Max I've had and used a lot, I'll get the CS AD-10 and AD-15 and sell my custom versions. The AD-15 is easier to unlock than the AD-10 and your fingers are always out of the way of the blade as it closes.

Got an ad-15 at an outdoor show today. I was between the ad-15 and the -10. The -10 is significantly wider and thicker than the -15. The -10 was also phenomenally smooth. I don’t know for certain, but I think it was a high flat grind on the-10.

The -15 is just plain cool though, and it’s smaller size made it a better knife for me. Also the clip is better in my opinion.

Here it is next to a Manix 2

Nice, but little disappointed to see it's made in Taiwan...was hoping Italy like some of the others.
