Here are some photos of my home made knife handle scales. I purchased some G10 blanks and used a dremel to craft the scales. Spent roughly 6hrs on them, they're not perfect but they will do for now. Comments and opinions would be great, hoping I wasnt the only one who wished Benchmade would have done more than just paracord on these blades.http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f38/moonCricket1/Mobile Uploads/20140819_2105311_zps416ad790.jpg

Thank you, I went with a desert tan G10 from (usaknifemaker.com) . It didnt exactly match the coating on the knife but it seems the G10 is darkening with more hand oil absorbing into the handle. It's worth the time and money spent if you have the tools available. The blank G10 only cost me twelve bucks, I know there are plenty of guys doing home made Micarta like scales too but I have not seen anyone do this yet with the 375.

Those look great! They look like benchmade should make them come standard. Very nice job sir.

I recently asked if there was anyone out there making scales fro this knife because I don't like cord wrap, so it's nice to see that I'm not the only one with the idea. I bought a chunk of black wood and planned on making some scales eventually for mine. What did you use for fasteners? Brad

Brad, for fastners I went out and bought 3/4" 8-32 flat head screws. I actually used some of the hardware that came with the Adamas knife. But you can use something like rivet nuts since they have a shoulder that will lock into the actual handle itself. Just be sure to take your time on drilling holes for the scales since the hardest part is lining them up. I offset the holes so they would hold the handles in place rather than center them in the holes on the blade handle, or you can use an epoxy to lock them into place.

Thank you sir, I was some what satisfied with the end result. If I could've picked another color it would probably be olive drab.

Awesome, I've wanted to pick up a 375 love the design but wish it had scales.

It's a cool looking knife and if you notice it looks a lot like the Bark River Bravo1 and even has the same weight distribution on it. When I stumbled across this knife the first thing that came to mind was, why?! Why would they make an eight inch neck knife out of D2? Don't get me wrong, paracord is great and all but to use it solely as a handle is a major setback in my opinion. I don't mind paracord on my knives, as long as it's not purely used as a means of handle material.

Its a fun beater knife. Paracord gets dirty though and slick when wet... Micarta would be intresting if the scales started at the bottum of the bevel like on the CRK Pacific.

Micarta would be nice, preferably a linen. I've seen guys make Micarta style scales out of khakis to be used as something close to a sand color, it can be done for a low cost, you just need to have a decent sized vice or clamps and some fiberglass resin/marine epoxy. I agree it's definitely a knife to beat on and I didnt spend too much on it so I wont feel bad putting it through an assortment of camping chores.

You'll find the serations are only good for SMALL branches or better yet (and the real use of it) use it to start a channel for you to saw through with a REAL saw.

I only have the 275 for my EDC but if I had a 375 then I would scoop these up. They look awesome and I bet they feel smooth.
