I've seen some pics of cerakoted knives but it was a blue Adamas that hooked me. I decided to try it so I sent my Adamas off to Josh at Razor Edge Knives for the work. I asked him to do the scales and the back spacer. He did an outstanding job. The coating is consistent and flawless. The cool factor (to me :)) just went through the roof! Obviously I'm a fan or orange and this will be a great camp folder. It certainly won't get lost. :D

Does he cerakote blades? Would have been cool for blade to be orange. Please use that thing and let us know how the cerakote holds up. Remember I contacted him about doing some presidio scales and price was good. Also hit him up not to long ago hoping he cerakoated gun stocks but he doesnt.

I believe he does blades but I wanted the black orange combo. I will definitely be using this hard. I'm curious as well about durability of the coating.

So far, after all these years, the Cerakote has held up to everything my wife has subjected it to. Granted, she doesn't take it out and bang on tent stakes with it (this fall may change that), but it has survived being at the bottom of her purse with no damage to the Cerakote, and that is truly an amazing feat!
