Adamas fixed blade compared to an ESEE?

I have an Adamas black fixed blade that I am working into an IWB carry knife and was wondering if an ESEE might be a better or equal fit for the job. With the para cord grip the Adams would seem thinner but the grip on the ESEE looks like it would give a solid grip. Both are carbon based steel so they would both need some care in hot and humid weather. I do not have any exposure to the ESEE brand so I have to rely on others who know the product. Thanks in advance and any information is appreciated.
Be safe, Frank.

I have most of the Essse line and a few of the Adamas fixed blades. The Adamas is my fixed edc. (I carry it in the factory sheath with a leather belt loop I made. For IWB , the only Esses I would use would be the 3 or the Izula 1 or 2 with a handle wrap. If you wrap the Adamas like benchmade shows on their vid , it is a very solid grip and even works well without a wrap if you want it to be thinner.

I wouldn't worry too much about rust with the Adamas. I find 1095 in the Esse is a great steel but does rust easier than D2 .If you did get a little on the edge it will buff right off . I tried the Esse 3 as an edc , but like the size of the Adamas a lot better , and the edge retention and toughness of that knife is pretty outstanding. Wish it didn't have the top serrations . Doesn't cut cord too well even if sharpened up , and only does minor notching in wood.

My fixed edc used to be an original DPX Hest , but the darn prybar on the end got snagged on clothing all the time. Great on a pack but annoying wearing on the hip. I though of buying another one and grinding the prybar tip off ( considered a sin by many) , but in reality with out the prybar pommel would probably be on of the best edc fixed blades out there , Imo.

Ive got an Esee 5, most the Kabar Becker line and a ton of Benchmades one of which is a fixed Adamas. I would stick with the Adamas for IWB use as the Adamas is just plain thinner all around also because D2 is less likely to rust from perspiration than 1095. The Adamas is just overall a much better candidate for IWB. Agree about the unfortunate serrations but at the same time it is near indestructable...

Thank you both for your knowledgable opinion. I have cut a belt clip off an old IWB holster I had from a gun that I sold a while ago. I punched it out and screwed it to the sheath, laced up the Paracord and it has worked out beautifully.
Thanks again, Frank.
