The folding Adamas is awesome, so I imagine the fixed blade is an equally awesome design. For a general-use fixed blade, I imagine it is an awesome performer. For a very hard-use fixed blade, there are other options out there which may be more ideal depending upon the usage. The blade shape and grinds used on the Adamas family are really good performers IMO.
That style sheath that Benchmade is using is also IMO really nice because it is compact, durable, and the design gives the user many different options in how they want to carry or store. The amount of holes it has makes that sheath really easy to mate with a pack using paracord so you have it angled in a direction that is easy & fast to draw from a pack, but avoids you having to carry it on your belt 24/7, which can get annoying or tiresome over extended trips.
