I was wondering what the people here thought of the Benchmade 375 Adamas? I would like to get it as a boot style or a light carry fixed blade.
Any opinions would be helpful.
Thank you in advance, Frank.

I like mine alot, just dont like a cord wrapped handle. I'm in the process of making some handle scales for it, i may end up sending it off to get the handle done. The sheath is also very nice, well built and stout. The 375 also comes with the tek lok which is a bonus. Brad.

The folding Adamas is awesome, so I imagine the fixed blade is an equally awesome design. For a general-use fixed blade, I imagine it is an awesome performer. For a very hard-use fixed blade, there are other options out there which may be more ideal depending upon the usage. The blade shape and grinds used on the Adamas family are really good performers IMO.

That style sheath that Benchmade is using is also IMO really nice because it is compact, durable, and the design gives the user many different options in how they want to carry or store. The amount of holes it has makes that sheath really easy to mate with a pack using paracord so you have it angled in a direction that is easy & fast to draw from a pack, but avoids you having to carry it on your belt 24/7, which can get annoying or tiresome over extended trips.

My auto Adamas is epic....so much so I had my name engraved on it cause its never leaving

Thank you all for your posts. The 375 is the fixed blade version and that is the one I am looking at. Sorry for my screwup.
Frank.

Frank, the 375 is a solid knife. ;)
My friend picked one up about 3 months ago and he uses it for just about everything. He did wrap the handle in tennis racket/baseball bat tape for some cushion and grip.

Got one for my Dad as a gift. Picked his brain beforehand, preferred the tan version. Wrapped the cord for him after the fact..gave him the option, told him we could get another color cord or perhaps a set of scales made..."Nope, this is just fine"..

Fine it is. Great blade.

Please forgive the lousy cell phone photo but I just wanted to get it out that I did grab the Adamas. I will get some better photo's after I wrap the cord. It came with some green cord, but I think I will pick up some black. Thanks again to all that took the time to respond. I do appreciate your input.
Frank.

Nice pick! The Adamas family is such a well-designed series and I think you'll be very happy with your choice!

You should definitely use one of the Zombie paracords however. Zombie Virus is one of my favorites...it's as tacky as it can be, but hella awesome!

I have a silly question: is this blade double edged? I can't tell from the picture if the non-serrated portion of the spine is sharpened or not.
(important stuff, since I can't import a double edge knife where I live. )
Amazing design, anyway.
