Add/edit post tool bar is inactive

Sometime this evening, the tool bar in the message composition window is all grayed out. The one that contains text formatting & color, inserting links and photos, smilies, quotes, etc. Something is gravely amiss.

Seems to be fixed - had to clear history and cookies. Toolbar is back again.
