Add-on thumb studs (for thicker blades)

We all know about the Kwik thumb studs. Small problem, though. They only work on knives up to 1/8" (.125"), though, and that's super anemic for modern folders. I'm not looking for something that can take a know up to 1/4", just something that can go a little thicker than 1/8". What are the options?

Try using a flat needle file and just widening the opening a bit.
