I took a clip off of a cheap Coast liner lock folder and installed it on my 110 LT. I opted for tip-down because I had a flat area to attach it. I drilled a size smaller than the screws and used blue thread locker and it seems to be pretty sturdy. The thumb stud is a Chinese copy of the kwik stud that I got because I thought the black looked cool. I threw the lanyard/fob on in case I set it down and couldn’t find it.

I don't remember who, but someone around here used a Chicago screw through the lanyard whole to attach a pocket clip, which I thought was pretty smart.
Didn’t even think of that. I have a couple 2005 or 2006 442s with the single-screw clip with the tab that fits in the hole in the handle.

Good idea with the lanyard. I was fishing a few weeks ago and sat the exact same knife down on the pond dam. I knew approximately where it was, but still spent five minutes looking for it. I was impressed with its ability to camouflage itself.
I was moving this past April and kept losing this knife amid all the things scattered around. So I threw the scrap of orange paracord onto it to find it easier. They do disappear surprisingly easily.

Due to the curve of the clip I used, configuration is limited and its not extra stout, but it does a nice job securing the knife in the side pocket* on a pair of Carhartt's. I've come to like brightly colored knives for their locatability** after I've set them down somewhere.

*AKA, the "six foot folding rule pocket"
** if "locatabilty" isn't a word, it ought to be :)
