Well I knew it would probably eventually happen and it did. Inbound I have a small 21 with Madagascar Rosewood to join my 25. I needed something for weekday carry so this guy will ride in his pouch in my slacks. It will also get some time clipped to my pocket when not at work. I'm really excited about getting this guy in because I've only held one small sebenza and that was last year at blade show. I had zero CRK's at that time and this year I'll have two.

So if you guys can post pictures of your sebenzas with wood inlays to tide me over that would be great. I'd really like to see some Madagascar Rosewood as I haven't seen that one around much. Browsing the photos here has really helped in me keeping with CRK because of the variety. Thanks guys.

Also any advice on care would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks. I just hope it's as dark as the picture from the vendor. I really liked the contrast and the fact that I haven't seen much Madagascar Rosewood. Most I've seen have been Honduran Rosewood which seems to have an amber hue. We'll see. I was deciding between this one and a Box Elder from another vendor and decided on this one because of the contrast with the polished Ti.

Great catch - congrats.
I've got a Mandi with the same wood and after using it to cut that daily apple I rinse it with fresh water and dry it with a paper towel and back in the front pocket it is. Every now and then I put a little ren-wax on the wood.
It looks like new.

Thanks for the tips. I'm glad this wood holds up well. So far I'm really liking it but it's much smaller than the 25.

Well, that means you have to add a large Rosewood, so it feels more familiar, and so starts the slippery slope CRK guys love so much!

Yeah, I'm looking at a Nyala already. If I add another large it would probably be a micarta. I'm still considering a Mnandi as well.
