I'll take pictures and post Saturday morning. But I have to comment. Design and style preferences aside, this might be the finest knife I have ever held in my hands production or not. The workmanship, fit and finish and overall excellence in this knife I have in my hand right now is beyond compare so far for me. Cosometically, tolerance, blade work, edge work and lockup are simply outstanding.

Stay tuned for upcoming pictures :D

Well done Lionsteel!

Here is the link from the General Knife Forum with the pictures including some side by side comparisons:

Very well done!!!

I have to say, the SR-1 pushed my Sebenza out of my pocket!!!

It's a toss up for my new knife, either a chris reeve umnumzaan or an SR1, I want the SR-1 more, but the CR is easier to get when I want it. I'm an impulse buyer. Staying tuned for pics.

I must say I'm a bit jealous. I ordered the same SR-1G directly from Lionsteel and I by have been waiting quite a bit longer than I anticipated, but I will be patient a bit longer. Good to hear that with the new machinery the guys still deliver good quality products.

*man, what a thin facade that patience of mine is. GIANNI, I WANT MY SR-1*

Sorry 'bout that.

Nice knife! I have one from the original batch and it's neat to see the refinements they made as they progressed :)

`Last week my SR-1 arrived. It took a bit longer than expected, but I can only say: "Quality is worth waiting for..." It is a well designed and very well built folder, but now I am in doubt. I can keep it as a safe queen, but it really wants to be a user. At the moment I cannot afford to buy a second.

That is the only downside to the SR-1 IMHO, that they are so pretty you fight the urge to safe-queen them!
