And I don't even have one yet! I'm searching the net trying to decide which I want my first one to be once I get the funds, they just have such a unique shape and are available in awesome steels!

Here's what I'm thinking so far;

Endura 4- VG-10

Ladybug 3- H-1

Ladybug 3 FRN H-1 hawkbill ( all serrated)

Centofante 3- VG-10

The first and last knife seem so similar though! Thoughts on the two as well as the lady bugs?

Thanks for reading!

For unique blade shapes, check out the Matriarch and the Lil Matriarch. Both are in VG-10 steels. All you listed are great knives with good reputations. Welcome to the addiction.

Wow, that's a wicked looking blade, thanks now I gotta add it to the list! Haha. Good to hear about the reputations. And thank you!

What are you planning on doing with said knife once you get it? For carry, I enjoy the delica and Native. You really can't go wrong.

Go for the Delica/Endura for now. It is sort of their flagship/bestseller for over two decades now. It should make a good intro to the brand. My first was a byrd Meadowlark (budget Delica, it'll always have a place inmy heart hehe), I had no idea what I was in for... It truly is an addiction. I've amassed a semi respectable Spyderco collection, but to this day, I make sure I still use my budget byrd, a testament to Spyderco's quality.

I probably will end up going with the endura for my first, I've always been more into fixed blades for my outdoor life style but I can't wait to try the new steel and just get into something new. It'll be fun!

^being that I wanna try out the VG-10, I think I'll get the Endura in it and try out the Dragonfly in zdp-189! Thanks for the heads up!

I just so happen to have all three! The C3 is light! And a great length, with the clip putting it low in the pocket while the b lade slices apples and opens tape just great - pretty much my edc. The Endura is a great knife feels huge in the hand but since it is a reasonably slim knife it feels good in the pocket (especially with a low clip on it) I like the sabre grind since it feels beefy but it cleaves apples rather than slicing them and the Delica is everything every one says it is. They all cut tape and cardboard well and seem to stay sharp pretty well. Can you tell my edc knife uses?

Awesome looking knives! I think the Endura is what I'm looking for at the moment now! I want something a little larger and I really like the blade shape!

Endura was my first Spyderco, and it happens to be my latest as well (another came yesterday :D ). I think you have made the right choice

A wise man once said: "In life you only need two knives, a Delica and an Endura. The rest is just gravy." :D

The Endura and Ladybug make a good large/small combo for EDC. If you go that route I would recommend the Endura ZDP-189 PE and the Ladybug H1 SE in the Leaf or Hawkbill blade shape.

Cool, some more great recommendations! I'll definitely take all this into account while aquirung my EDC combo. Thanks a lot. I have a feeling ill be in this sub forum a lot!
