This might seem like a silly idea, but I'm curious anyways.

I'm wondering if it would be possible/easy to add a carbide glass punch to a bottom of a knife? I suppose one would have to optain the carbide punch, cut it to the right size, drill a hole in the knife's handle, and then somehow glue it in there?

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Why does it have to be carbide ? Automatic centerpunches work very well to break glass .

I was just looking for an all-in-one. I always have my knife on me, and I don't like to carry alot of extra stuff. I guess I could leave it in the car, but then again, I wouldn't have it on me when I ride in other peoples cars....

for carbide, you could get a replacement point for a carbide scribe.Jantz sells them, it is probably just the right size.

Mongo-man. That Resque knife would certainly fit the bill, but I don't care for it. I'm in Iowa, and the knife laws are really nice. We can have autos.

I basicly want to take a MOD (that for some reason didn't come with the tip, the others do), and put the tip on it...

Jaegar. That looks perfect, now, just what would be the best way of attacting it to my handle... JB weld, epoxy...

I might practice this operation on a $5 knife...
