Adding a firesteel loop?

I have a RC-4 that I just got a Tek-Lok for to set up the knife for vertical carry. I'm trying to think of a way to put a firesteel loop on the sheath also.

Any suggestion? Thanks in advance for you ideas/suggestions/help!!

Are you just looking for a way to hold the steel to the sheath? If so, I've seen people use rubber heated up then used it to wrap the steel to the sheath. You could probably just drill a hole in the kydex and run some 550 cord through that as a loop IMO.

There are several kydex guys who make something that attaches to the sheath. One of my kydex sheaths holds a mini multi-tool and a fire steel.

Contact someone like Mashed Cat or Okuden and they can make you what you want.

If you like leather, I just got my Chuddy Bear dangler with a firesteel loop for my 3/8 ferro rod. I highly recommend Chuddy Bear, this thing is monstrously well made.

I like how that front piece is added on the kydex. Maybe I'll look into something like that.

I had a buddy build me a few in Green kydex,Black kydex and I can mount fire steel loop to any RAT knife I own...just talk to a Kydex bender on BF,They'll hook you up !
