Adding a Lanyard to Carbon Fiber Spyderco w/o Lanyard hole

So i just ordered and received another addition ( Spyderco T-mag ) to my Carbon Fiber Collection ( Which has been growing fast ). I normally carried a Kershaw Scallion at work because i had a little lanyard on it and it was to flip out and grab from my pocket. But once i received the T-Mag i loved the magnetic lock, it is perfect for quick cuts and closes. But i found myself grabbing for that lanyard all the time. But there's no lanyard hole for the some Carbon Fiber Spydies. I tried looping it around the back space but the blade would hit it ever so slightly causing a fray on the para cord. So i played around with it and i cut the loop and took the one strand and cut a hole in the para cord for the screw and sandwiched the para cord in the pocket clip. i was worried it would come loose but i have used it for weeks pulling and tugging and it never comes loose. I have never thought about doing this before and feel stupid. I am now going through my CF line-up wondering what other spydies i can carry. Maybe ill EDC my Damascus Caly CF now that i found a way to add a lanyard. So i thought i would share what it looks like. Since i haven't seen it before maybe some of you haven't either.


If anyone else has some cool ways they attached a lanyard to thier Carbon Fiber Spyderco please share!

Thanks i bought a bunch online made a few different lanyards with them. People seem to like them.
