Hey guys, im currently interested in the AG Russell Titanium folder 3.0 version

this knife-->
http://www.agrussell.com/ag-russell-30-titanium-lockback-folder/p/RUS-P73TI/

My problem is that i would like it if i could open it with one hand via disk or stud yet it features a nail nick which requires me to open it double hands.

Are there any products out there that allow me to do such a thing with this knife?
Possibly epoxy on a thumbdisc (im limited to basic hand tools) ? like the one from knife kits?

Suggestions?

JB Weld. I would probably get a smaller sized metal disk, however. The one you linked seems sort of large for the 3.0 Titanium lockback.

Here's an idea. Run to the hardware store and find a metal rod that's the diameter you want...heck, could even be aluminum. Then just get a saw and cut off a disk. Sand it so it's smooth and use a small amount of JB Weld to 'glue' it to the blade.

BTW, I'm getting at least one of these for my dad's bday coming up soon. It's a great little knife.

Very nice blade for the value.
Thanks alot.

Something else that might even work better. If you are handy enough, you could cut a small groove in the disk so that the blade can rest inside it. Then you can add the JB Weld to the channel you cut into the disc.

That's probably overkill, but this is how I would mod the knife.
