I picked up another couple of SAKs today. The wife needed a curtain rod so I wandered over to the sporting goods at Target and found this bargain:

Its not smooth like a typical SAK but is slightly textured and its also very light. It has a 3" Sheepsfoot blade and Alox liners, compared to brass in the older version. I think it'll make a good EDC knife.

Very nice. If I didn't already have a Tinker, I'd get a hiker for the saw.

I thought I saw a "c" in the first word of your title for a second, there.

lol - it wouldn't be the worst I've ever had. SAKs are much cheaper than AKs or SKSs!

Nice pick-up. I bought the same combo last January for a few $ more than you paid. My wife carries the Hiker in her shoulder bag, and the Gardener is mine.

I bought that same combo pack at Target! Gave the Gardener to one of the bus boys at work who is always asking for a knife, it never leaves his side now.
