Additional "Knifemakers Fixed Blade" Sales Forum?

Spark , Could we get possibly get an additional sales forum for "Knifemakers Fixed Blade"?

The page does not hold very many posts for the amount of makers who are selling and some makers post so often that a "For Sale" post will get pushed off the front page in a couple of days.

Considering the $75 fee for a knifemakers membership it should provide a sales forum that allows more posts on a page or a second over flow forum. The current page has to fast of an overturn.

The rules say you can not repost for 2 weeks, but having a sales post up for a couple of days every two weeks is not long enough.

Years ago it may have been fine, but with the increase of knifemakers posting it is no longer. We pay more and get less exposure for our ads.

If a additional forum can not be created could you lower the repost time period to 1 week?

The forum membership has grown but the amount of spaces for posting has not grown with it.

How about the original sale page for first time listings and a second page for reposting sales and make the time 1 week?

Something needs to be done. The knifemakers fixed blade page moves so fast you sometimes can only get a post on the first page 4 days a month.

Lowering times to 1 week just gets stuff pushed off faster. I'm not sure what you are asking for otherwise by an additional forum though, could you rephrase what you intend?

Have the original fixed blade for sale forum for first time sales posting.

Have another "Repost forum" where you could repost a knife that did not sell on the original sales page and allow reposting 1x per week. This would unclog the original sales forum with reposting sales and open up more opportunity to sales for repost in the second forum.

For example I posted a knife for sale yesterday and chances are it will move off the page tomorrow and I have to wait another 2 weeks to repost. Considering there are so many knifemakers memberships the original sales page moves far faster then it did a few years ago. It has not adapted to the increase in knifemaker memberships.

Considering you can not increase the number of posts per page on the original "Fixed blade" sales forum to meet demand,it would be good to meet the demand by having a second "Repost Fixed blade Sales Forum"

For example my sales post lasted 2 days on the front page and now I have to wait 2 weeks to post again and get another 2 days. 4 days a month to have a sales post not enough.

Either the number of posts on a page needs to be increased or an additional forum should be made to accommodate increase flow.
