Additional Seal Pup Attachments

The clip system on the back of the groove sheath for the Seal Pup is a bit bulky for my liking and use. I stumbled across the following clips looking for an alternative:

With additional rivets, I believe I can attach them. They appear to be from the same manufacturer as the currenty clip. All I would need to do is drill three current rivets (one on the handle snap/strap) and rivet into place the new desired clip.

Am I missing something here? It looks straight forward, but I want to have a couple other pairs of eyes check out the idea.

talk to Sharp Phil , he seems to be good at doing these sorts of sheath modifications

TekLoks are common enough that I'd be willing to bet the holes in your sheath would line up for attachment already. All the hardware you need to screw on the sheath is included. FWIW I've used 'em with just two attachment points and it worked just fine.

Yeah, the wholes appear to be identical on both. Have you used the TekLoks? Do they stay in place well?

Yep. They're nice because you can just unlatch them and pop it on and off of belts and such really quickly, with no need to unbuckle.

I second BuckyKatt -- TekLoks work great. The only challenge is the width of the belt you are using. On my narrower belts the TekLoks then to rack a little bit, but on my wider webbing belts they are great. Highly recommended.

Good luck
