Additions to an existing Sebenza???

I was wondering if serrations and a swedge could be added to an existing blade?

I have an LDC Sebenza with a swedge and think it adds to the defensive capabilities. Could a swedge be added to an existing Sebbie. How about to a Classic Sebbie?

I am thinking that a Large Sebenza Classic with double thumb stud, serrations, and a swedge may just be the outdoors survival knife I am looking for. A small in the same configuration may be the best all around carry knife going.

Anyone have any ideas???

Thanks,

Rick

Email the gang at CRK! They are all awesome to deal with (particularly Bridget). I just had a small plain turned into a small decorated and they were super to deal with and fast to get my baby back to me

Rick,

I called CRK a few weeks ago and Bridget gave me this answer. Yes, you can add a swedge to and existing blade. No, serrations can not be added after a blade has been made. It must be added to a newly made blade. To add afterwards will ruin the heat treat of the knife and the integrity of the steel.
Hope this helps.
