Adjustable cord for neckers?

I'm looking for a way to make my neck knife cords adjustable - without having a clip. I've seen some that look like the top part that, goes around the neck, has two lengths of cord and there are two knots down on either side of the rig. I'm assuming that one or both of these knots allow for adjustment. I can't find any instructions on making this. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Other suggestions welcome. Thanks

Easy. Tie a knot at the end of the first cord with the second cord running through the knot. Then tie a knot at the end of the second cord over the first cord. Now when you pull the knots away from each other, you shorten the cord.
