Hi Everybody,
I started working on these about 5 or 6 years ago, but shelved it, because I was too busy to really work on it & I got frustrated because my original design did not work.
I even told Jerry & Andre about it, & they were interested, but like I said it got shelved.
I thought I could do it like I make my holsters but that did not work right.
I have since changed the way I make my holsters ( about a year ago) & about 3 weeks ago I found a way to apply it to sheaths.
This works best on larger sheath but I may come up with a way to apply it to smaller ones.
Here are some pics.
Let me know what you think ?
I use the same rubber washers I use on holsters & the same oval head SS oxide coated screws.
It works awesome & I have made a few for my knives this way.
Here are three stacked up
Here is a pic showing that you can still use the talon hole lock (with some para-cord)
This is a experimental one I did that I did not like because it was in line with the tec-loc & when you cinched the screw down for the tec-loc it tightened the sheath
Here is another view of it.
I will be offering this in the future for an extra 5.00 per sheath ?
Thanks for checking it out.
