I'm very partial to titanium frame locks and liner locks. Every now and then I'll get one that has a detent that's too strong or too weak. I'm not smart enough to return the knife so I adjust the detent by bending the lock bar slightly. It takes very little movement to alter the detent but it takes a good bit of force to bend the lock bar. I always worry that the lock bar may break. To satisfy my OCD, I'll try to measure with calipers, before and after, so I know how much adjustment I've made. It's usually a trial and error process. Anyone else ever do this?
