Adjusting my CQC6

Okay, so I fell asleep with my CQC6 IWB. No big deal, right? Wrong! Upon waking, I found that the blade now rubs the liner upon closure. Just light partial contact on the beveled side, but something about my custom Emerson sounding like a pair of my wife's scissors just doesn't appeal to me.

Is something I can alleviate with a little tweaking, or would I be better off sending it to the shop?

Thanks in advance.....

Send it to the shop. Why should you second guess. It's a 6...deserves the Master's attention. The service on customs couldn't be better. I've refurbished a number of customs that I've bought in the secondary market. Speak to Peggy. She is the best.

I agree !

If it's anything more than just adjusting the tension screw (I guess it's not just this coming loose that's causing the problem and the fact you may have lent on it at the same time being just a coincidence) I'd let Ernie look at it.

I've just sent one of mine off for him to play with for a very reasonable price.

I can see the concern as this being THE 6
But i've bent more then a few of my knives, i bent my BM 975 when weightlifting and so on.
I can't imagine that it would be that hard to just bend it back.
I've only used tight fingerpressure to do this on the knives that have done similar stuff.
Just see where it rubs and "bend" it the other way.

Please don't spank me for suggesting bending a '6

My knives!

Thanks guys. I'm going to go with jackstraw & dd1967 on this and send it back to Ernie for a little cosmetic TLC. Thanks jackstraw....I will ask to speak with Peggy about it.

Jonas - I did try to tweak it back like you said, but it seems I have made a bit too much of an impression on this knife! Thanks anyway.
