Is there a safe and easy way to adjust the blade spring tension on a traditional folder without hurting yourself or the knife?
I do have an idea for a de-tensioning jig that I could make up, but it would require a good bit of machining, and I hate to do that to adjust one knife.
The spey blades on every Case stockman I've tried have had stupid heavy tension, where they are dangerous to open, and dangerous to close. Even once used to the knife, so they are not as dangerous, they're still a pain to get open.
What is strange is that the blade on the opposite side of the same spring, has very light tension.
