I previously got the mid sized Canoe axe by Adler and really liked it so decided to get their Rheinland hatchet. It’s similar to the canoe axe but has a smaller handle making it even easier to carry in a pack. Overall I’m very impressed with the capabilities of this well rounded hatchet 👍

I do find the handles a bit chonky, but you can slim them down. It'll just end up removing the markings and paint in the process, which may be an improvement to some.

I was looking at those this morning. Also the helko traditional and the helko pack axe, 1.5lb and 20”. I have a helko traditional wolfling due here Monday. Their smallest hatchet, it will be helpful on some carving projects. Adler looks like nice quality for the price. Probably end up with one eventually.
