We no longer have 1084 steel bars in stock. Our two supplying mills went
bankrupt and out of business over a year ago. We have not been able to
find another source.
We now offer HR 1075/1080 from sheared sheet and plate as an alternative.
Typical analysis 1084 C .80/.94 M .60/.90
1075/1080 C .70/.88 M .40/.90
The four digits (1084)(1075) refer to a specific "grade" (type) of steel
that is made to a specific chemistry range for that particular designation.
Refer to our web site or price for the typical analysis of all our blade steels.
Thank you
Terry
