Okay, okay, I know this has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with knives, but since y'all are my go-to know-it-alls, I'm throwing this one out to you, since it's too long to put through a search engine and the Adobe Acrobat forums won't let me search comprehensively, either:
I'm creating an Acrobat form (simple enough). On that form, there are a number of text fields which are all sequential. These are placed to emulate typing on lines on an existing form (have I lost you, yet?), and I'm trying to set up Acrobat so that, when a user reaches the end of the first text field, it will automagickally feed him straight into the next text field, without them having to tab down to it. The folks that I'm aiming this form at are hunt-and-peck typers, who will not be able to glance from the screen to the keyboard without totally losing focus, so anything I can do to help them is a real boon. Being able to type and have the "lines" advance automatically is almost a requirement.
Is there any way to do this? I'm running Acrobat 9 extended, if that helps. I know this is not the most elegant solution for the form, but due to the powers that be, I'm not allowed to just put in a text-wrapping text field instead of the separate lines. That would be too damned easy, apparently, and we can't have that!
Thanks in advance for any solutions you may be able to offer, or barring that, if you can point me to a forum that will let me search more than ten words contiguously...? Thanks!
