For those who have not heard of it Timascus is forge welded and patterned titanium. Currently Timascus consists of two titanium alloys (CP and 6AL4V). We have a three alloy mix in work (CP, 6AL4V and 15-3). The various alloys color differently through the use of heat or anodizing. Each titanium alloy has the potential for a new color combination.

Timascus is used for scales, bolsters and guards. There is a blade material in work.

I bought a small set of Chucks Timascus. This stuff is very pretty and is the most Hi-Tech material for handles and bolsters that I have seen. Our own Rick Wheeler (or maybe its Nick Wheeler) has already beat us all to it and has already made a georgeous dagger with a twisted Timascus grip. The whole thing probally only weighs 6 ounces! Show em Nick I mean Rick.

Oh Chuck, I want a Timascus hat. How much?
