What are the advantages of a carbon fiber handle?

Strong, won't absorb moisture, swell or rot.

It's expensive and doesn't look as nice as stabilized wood imo

Aesthetics . I'm assuming you mean compared to G10, micarta or FRN-type handle scales.

Over what? Over G10, its weight reduction. Over micarta its strength. Still, all three of these are Very strong and stick in the hand well. I doubt any of us need more strength. Plus, there are cost factors and working hazards with this material. DM
