Advantages of short hair...

-Don't need as much soap
-no maintenence
-nothing left for an assailant to grab
-don't have to get it cut as often
-just looks cool :D

I personally wear a flat top with a 1 on the sides. What do you wear and why?
 
I used to have long, gnarly, hesher hair. It goes good with a Defleshed t-shirt. :o

I keep it at 1/4" now, for 4 out of the 5 reasons you listed (I've never been assailed).
 
Since all I have left are a few scattered patches I keep mine shaved. Very easy to maintain but the sun can be a problem here in the Southwest.

I realize what you mean, when I first got short hair and went fishing, sunburn beyond sunburn...
 
I shaved my head about 2 months ago. I keep it at 1/8" all around. I love it like that and it just works for me. I just did it because I'm starting to go bald on the crown of my head and I'm not going to be one of those guys that does the "comb over".

Short, because the Army makes me. :grumpy: When I get out in 56 days :D I don't plan to cut it for a year just because I can.
 
I buzz mine off with the number one quide, dont have to muss much with it , keeps me cool in the summer time. :D
 
Well,,,for those of you that are blad or nearly bald, there is a new procedure out that while they cant grow new hair, they can shrink your head so what you have left will fit better. :eek: :eek: :rolleyes: :rolleyes:
 
I like having a little hair. I buzz mine with a number 1 guard on the sides and a number 3 on top. My brother shaves his really close all over, though. Its a good time for people who are naturally bald what with so many people shaving their heads to get that look.
 
I'm different. I havne't had a real haircut since I was 18... I'll be 24 next week. The hair is down to the middle of my back, maybe a little longer. I like it a lot, and seems that pretty girls like to play with it... so I like that a lot too :D.

What can I say, I'm a headbanger.
