Hello,

I've been eyeing knives from two brands, Adventure Sworn and LT Wright, but unfortunately, they are quite rare or unavailable in the EU, necessitating a purchase from the USA. This is where things get a bit complicated. For an Adventure Sworn Explorer in 3v, I would have to pay around $426.45 when converting from euros. The same applies to LT Wright Knives.

Now, my question is whether this price is justified. Should I go ahead with these purchases, or should I stick to other EU brands? One notable frustration is that EU brands often lack a lifetime warranty. I'd love to hear your opinions and perspectives on whether it's worth the investment or if I should explore alternative options.

Thank you for your insights!"

I believe LT Wright knives are significanly more affordable than A.S.

My LT Wright Northern Hunter in 3v flat grind has been my favorite knife for sometime (bottom knife). I think I paid $225 ish American. Having said that I'm not sure I could have paid $400+ for it. The architect in 3v with scales and sheath I think ran me $200 and has been an impressive blade for the money. The white river in the middle should be ignored as I don't feel it was worth the cost. Don't get me wrong it's a fine blade but it's the most expensive in the lot and not one I'm prone to grabbing. If having a rare blade is appealing and the cost is not a deal breaker i haven't found fault with my lt. And they are great to deal with when you call them and ask questions or special orders a fire steel to match.

Good luck

Bear in mind that if you need to use the warranty, the knife needs to shipped across the world again twice. That takes time, money and is not without risk.

We are living in a golden age for knife making. I'm sure the EU market offers comparable alternatives, but ofcourse, it won't be exactly the same knife. However, it's hard to recommend something without knowing exactly what you're looking for in a knife.
