I need everyone's help again. I am looking for a good durable woods knife. I want to be able to clean squirrel and deer with it. Would also take it trekking, canoeing, and backpacking and for general wood use. I want around a 4" blade. I am currently torn between a adventure sworn classic or a fiddleback forge kephart or bush finger. I like the pointy blades for more precise work specially when cleaning game. I have not handled either of the knives and would like opinions from others who has. I do not do alot of batoning either. I would like a knife that can handle it though if the need arises. Thanks all

I don't have experience with either brand, but I would like to thank you for not calling the knife you are asking about a "survival" knife. :D

Survive knives GSO series; either gso 4.1 or 3.5, either one in com-3v.
No, I do own or have owned three of guy's blades, but have not pushed them. However, there are earlier YT videos showing Guy batoning his blades with steel sledgehammer to trim downed trees. I love these knives. Gifted two to my sons; kept latest GSO3.5 in 3v for me.

I highly recommend the Fiddleback Forge Production Bush Finger. There are great reviews on this knife and others over on the Fiddleback Sub Forum.
