My grandfather always had a Pepsi or Coca Cola advertising knife in his pocket, he drove a soda delivery truck into retirement. I've seen quite a few advertising knives in my hauntings of old junk malls and flea markets. I've seen some really nice ones, even a Remington if I remember correctly. I'd like to see your advertising knives. Local companies, international, national, what have you. I'd also like to see the companies name that produced them. I seem to have seen quite a few Colonials and other smaller companies.

These two are tang stamped USA only.

Colonial

Schrade

Ambassador, USA

Colonial

Two Camco USA

Walter Keyser, Solingen

Cool! Especially love that warn cliff with the classy engraved rectangle shield!

Some of my barlows (mostly Colonial)

Some of my electrician knives (mostly Colonials)

Lotta very cool knives here!:cool:
Here's one I have, but I have no idea who made it - no stamp on the blade. What is this style of "flip&slide" opener called? I've included a series of pics intended to illustrate how the knife opens.

Such cool knives, everyone. Especially love all those old advertising Barlows.

I think this is the only advertising knife I have right now. Just a little Swiss Army Classic from a company my dad worked for when I was a kid.

Great thread, I love old advertising knives, some fantastic examples here :)

I need to take some new pics, (not least of the mint Hoover penknife I recently picked up :) ), but here's what I can find in my Photobucket account
