Is the cost of the add space really worth it...???

Advertising will not dramatically increase your sales overnight. In my experience it adds a couple or three knives to my sales each time the ad runs, usually not enough to cover the ad cost. The trick to benifit from advertisisng is to generate second and third sales from the same ad by giving the customer more than they expect in both quality and service. This way they will come back themselves or recommend others to you. This secondary business takes a long time to develop, years actually, so unless you are in it for the long term advertising is not very benificial.

Hi George....

Well I've been thinking about this myself,, but was wondering about the cost/effectiveness of an ad.

I wonder if it would be different for someone like me, who does aftermarket Custom work...Whatcha Think ?

I find the best way is to talk to people,, and let them get to know who you are. Word of mouth seems to be the strongest infulence in my sales.

People want to talk to someone and have their questions answered instantly. The computer allows me to do that, and I really enjoy talking to people....

The ads in either Blade or TK are worth the money if you have a product of mass appeal. Also it is EXTREMELY important that your ad is visually attractive or else it won't do you very much good.

If you need help in that arena, let me know. We do ads for several companies now.
