Advice fixing a rolled edge

So I got my first XM-18 a couple days ago (3" wharncliffe) and in using it to break down some boxes today seem to have rolled the edge a quarter from the tip down on some hidden copper links. I can feel the roll with my nail. What's the best method to straighten it out, should I just make a few passes with a 600 grit diamond hone on the affected area? Strop? Something else? Thanks for the help.

Imo I'd run it over a sharpening steel.

I have a larger Gossman.
I really like it.

There aren't good instructions out there.
Idk If there is a wrong way to use it???

But I use it A lot, and whatever I'm doing seems to work, it's weird how well too

More people should try it

If just a slight roll, couple of passes each side, "edge trailing" on a sharpening steel ( smoother the better ). If you dont have a steal, then just use the shaft of a screwdriver.
Using a diamond plate / stone to re-align the edge will impact the whole sharpened edge, so I would try the steal first - edge trailing will have less impact on the edge than edge leading.
