Advice for beginner knife maker.

So I finally got around to starting my first knife project.

I've browsed this site for a while and have seen some great information on knife making.

What is like to know, is, if you could go back and give yourself advice on knife making, what would you say?

I'd say that if you wanted to turn your hobby into a million dollar business, start out with 2 million. :D

Pick another hobby that is less expensive and time intensive!
 
Make your first few with Files and other hands tools,
Knife making is Dirty, dangerous and work.
