Well, the time is almost here, in fact, my dad and I are probably going to be headed for Atlanta in a little less than 24 hours :D

That being said, this is our first Blade, and our first treck through Tennessee and Georgia, and our first 8 hour trip.

So, do you guys who live in the Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, or the Tennessee area have any advise on what stretches of interstate to aviod due to traffic, construction, speed traps (don't want to spend all of our money on tickets, we wanna buy some knives!), etc.?

We plan to leave early to avoid rush hour Louisville and Nashville, but how's Georgia traffic usually?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, and hopefully see you guys in Georgia, have a safe trip.

When we drove down in 2007, the only problem area I can recall was the stretch of I-75 just north of Atlanta as we came in at evening rush hour.

Good luck, and enjoy your trip!

Watch 81 South through Virginia, if you get that east, I scored an 80 in a 65, he dropped it down from , I'll take the fifth :foot: !

$136, could have been much worse........................

Jimmyjones is right, watch out when you're in Virginia. It's pretty much a police state these days- DON'T SPEED, you will get zapped.
