Titanium scratches very easily. I have a couple of knives and a watch with titanium. I was able to remove the scratches successfully with very fine steel wool.
I am not sure if this is the best way to remove these scratches. Does anyone have any experience or a better suggestion.
Any contribution will be greatly appreciated.

You may want to try CrystalClear or Metallux - both made by the same company. They are used by watch, jewelry, and antique collectors to remove fine scratches and polish gold, silver, titanium, etc. You can find the info at: www.watchpolishing.com.

I haven't tried either of them. I found them while researching products to clean verdigris (green tarnish) from the brass hilt and butt cap on a used Randall knife I just purchased. I think I'll try Flitz polish first, since it's locally available and I only need a polish not a scratch remover. Wenol and Simichrome are two other products that seem to be recommended by experts.

I bought some polish at Lowe's they had sticks of hard polish materal which can be rubbed on directly. Can't remember the brand but was in a display with 5-6 other polishes of simlar types designed for different metals. Takes the scratches right out of my wedding ring!
