I am a new happy owner to a Cold Steel Battle Star. I am currently searching for a bag/case to carry it. Some sort of Sling-bag or something else could be a way to carry it. However, this star is massive! It reaches 27 cm across with needle sharp points. What are you owners of a Cold Steel Battle star use to carry it in? I am not interested in a expensive brand, just some sort of bag or case that i can put it in,without cutting out of the nylon/cordura material that these bags are often made of.

Not to sound snarky, but I’m truly struggling to think of a scenario where this is a good, or even practical idea. Please elaborate.

You could probably use something like a larger double pistol case.

Get a little tupperware container? Or one of those tins angle grinder discs come in if you want to look manly! I suggest gloves when you throw it too, shurikens are in the same category as nunchucks for me, looks awesome in cartoons ...

I mean a way how to carry it from home to the place where i use to go to when i practice throwing knives. The throwing knives all comes in sheaths and are easy to carry, but not the Battle Star.
Ah, makes sense.

You might be able to make some covers for the points out of something like PlastiDip so they don’t poke through whatever you carry it in.

That was a good idea! These are usualy expensive, but i find one in the right size for the Battle Star made for Soft Airgun users in the lower price tag. I think i will go for one of these.

Offcoarse i did not meant to carry the star walking around in public city areas, since its illegal and besides no purpose for that. I meant for transportation from home to my knife throwing training spot, away from the city. The PlastiDip cover was a good idea. Had not thought about that.

Get a circular saw blade carrying case. Duluth used to make them, It's basically a big square of plastic sheathed in heavy nylon with a post in the middle, and it wraps around around the blades you set on the post. You could replicate it for cheap in seconds by folding a big piece of cardboard in half around the star, putting a bolt with nut through both sides and the hole, and holding it closed with some duck tape.
