Advice needed on next knife purchase

Ok time to enlist the help of the massive brain trust of knowledge on this forum.

I'm looking for something like a Christensen Knifeworks Brute and would buy one of those but when I contacted Matt he said orders would open up sometime next year and I have found none for sale. I also considered a Direware but I think there just a little too big for my EDC needs.
So who else makes a quality short blade sturdy flipper along the Direware / Christensen style.

1) I'm looking of a knife $500 - $1200 range, possibly a little more if it really calls out to me. :D
2) must be a flipper (prefer bearings over washers)
3) blade not over 3.3"
4) Frame lock preferred over liner lock
5) Ti or CF scale, possibly something else exotic.

Not interested in any CZ, BM, Spyderco, etc, etc type knives, I already have all of these I need.Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Forget trying to search for a short / stubby blade flipper knife, I got too many links to help with ED.

Almost forgot it needs to be something I can actually find and purchase unlike a Christensen Brute.

Thank you in advance.

sheepdog co1c looks up your alley. maybe look at john grey and randy doucettes blades?

admittedly I don't buy blades in this price range so I'm merely trying to help brainstorm.

Todd Begg custom, RJ Martin, Peter Rassenti, DB Fraley, David Mosier, and Kirby Lambert ALL make incredible custom knives, that are superb flippers.

Thanks for all the options up to now I'm checking whats available from several of them.
