Hello familia..

Well I have a wharnie that I love but I'm having a issue with it.

When set for tip up carry, the knife is opening in my back pocket. I've tried putting it on both left and right sides of the pocket.. And still have the same issue.

This concerns me for a safety reason.. I would really like to go through life without getting a blade stabbed into my rear.

What I think is the cause is a very weak detent.

What advice do you all have for me to fix this problem?

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I have already answered the question directly, apparently with this post and one on the USN, it was not the answer he wanted though.

The pivot screw is the part that controls the blade tension, adjust accordingly.....Learn a new carry method if what you are doing does not work for you.
