I’m new to Kizer and can’t decide between the jade G-10 yacht flipper or the Amicus button lock. All comments taken as truth. Also SMKW is dropping an exclusive Lieb on 6/7/24 that I’m eyeing too.

我是 Kizer 的新手,不知道该选翡翠 G-10 游艇翻板还是 Amicus 按钮锁。所有评论均视为事实。此外,SMKW 将于 6/7/24 发布一款独家 Lieb,我也对此非常感兴趣。
Depends on which version of steel you want, based on your needs

I'm not sure about Kizer's 9cr knives. Unfortunately do not have one so can't comment on what the steel is like from them. I do have a lot of Kizers in other steels though. From my experiences it can be hit and miss but here lately more hit than miss. There was a period of time I bought Kizer knives that the edges were totally unacceptable. I've had knives with bad actions from Kizer too, like total liner lock failure(Denim Sheepdog). Had button stick (Hyper), crossbar lock stick (Sheepdog crossbar). Then I've had some really good Kizers like the Invictus, Drop Bear, Mad Tanto, Original XL.
The main thing is you want to buy from a place that will TAKE THE KNIFE BACK if something is not right with it. We all want the best price but be sure you can send that sucker back if it does not suit your inspection. And send it back quick too. I'm not calling out Kizer in particular but have bought a lot of them and right now I'm at about 50/50 on them. They make appealing designs, offer decent steels when they are done right. But when they do one bad it's really bad. Right now there are some you may be interested in that are discontinued. These are good knives too that have good steel. Kizer Mini October can be a nice one if you get a good example. 154CM steel, frag pattern G10 and small. Can be had for as little as $40 with a coupon code.
I've never had good luck with Kizer's blackwashed blades for some reason. Every single one of them I've tried had either action problems or blade problems. Pay attention to pictures that show beyond the scales, look for stainless liners not colorred ones. They are nothing but trouble on a Kizer in my experience.
For an alternative, check out the QSP Canary folder.. 14C28N steel and simply works without any fuss I've heard. There are other alternatives too, like Civivi. Sencut is also a good brand believe it or not, but most of their knives are heavier/large.
