Advice on a Scott Cook?

Good evening everyone,

I’ve decided that I’ll be selling some of my grails to help with the acquisition of a Scott Cook. This is a league of knives I’m not very familiar within, and would love some advice. It seems the price jumps a lot with new milled clips, double gold thumbstuds, and what kind of inlays there are. I’ve been looking for one but I just don’t have a sense of “comfort” due to my lack of knowledge when dealing with them.

What I’d like, ideally, would be a newer-ish model, milled clip, and in good condition with all original parts and docs. What are some things I should look out for, if any? Are clones a big problem (I haven’t seen any, thankfully)?

Is there any advice any of you could perhaps offer while I embark on this next chapter ?

I saw it! Sweet knife, it scares me a bit that it’s different than the COA. It’s just kinda a hard knife to “shop” for, because of the price. It’s so expensive that I don’t want to settle but I also don’t have a ton to choose from and be picky haha!
