I'm looking for a smaller knife to carry and the Kershaw Baby Boa 2 inch caught my eye. I am not looking for the more powerful knifes, just for a small one of nice appearance and ability when needed for minor tasks. Is that a good one? Thanks for any advice, help.

Tiny flipper, same as the chive....I have a hard time with deployment, but I love the looks.

Check out the OD-2, the flipper on it works great, and I can deploy the blade with ease.....not the prettiest thing, but very functional.

Blacks Knife is a Kershaw OD-2
Pink Knife is a Kershaw Chive

Notice the smaller flipper on the baby boa

Another one you might consider is the Mini Mojo/Mojito. Now discontinued, it is the baby to the Bump. KO design, Speedsafe and a really neat safety. A classy little dress knife that cuts a lot bigger than you would imagine.

so what are you wanting in a knife?
how big?
what features?
what types of cutting are you wanting it to do?

DaPro, I appreciatre you taking time to show these fine pictures. Sure a big difference in the knives.

I've never cared for the strong recurve lines of the Boas, although I have read positive posts from fellas that have them.
If you can live without the aesthetics, you might find the 2" blade of the Spyderco Ladybug more usefully shaped.
You might also look at the AG Russel 2.5 Titanium Lockback Folder.

I have handled the lockbacks in store, they are very nice, but I personally like a deployment aid (thumb stud, flipper)
