Advice on dull boring Damascus blades

My journey into knife making is beginning with purchasing some knife blades and playing with various scale materials for the handles. I did acquire some Damascus blades that look like they need some help. Some advice on getting some contrast from the metals in the Damascus blade. Some day I promise to learn the hot metal dance and proudly display the burn marks on my arms but this is my starting point---Steve
