Hi everyone,
This is my first post on this forum, but I've been lurking for some time. I've scoured google for around half an hour already trying to find anything on painting GRN handle scales.
Basically what I want to do is paint an Ontario Rat 2's handle scales beige or bone white. I'm in love with the Rat I's scales and how it looks but unfortunately a Rat I isn't an option right now, being on the restricted import list for my country.
So really what i want to do is buy a Rat 2, damage up the coating on the blade a bit so it looks worn and paint the handles white/beige. But I have no experience with what paint types to use for primer/paint/coat/hardener etc.
Just please remember I don't have a lot of equipment so I'd really like to pay less than $50 to do this to the knife. Thankyou for your suggestions.
