I have as of right now only used one
Jasco Paint Remover, the spay can form. works very well i might add

I have stripped my Bk 2, Bk9 and Kabar Zombstro, and I'm just about out/ and looking to buy more
Anyone have an suggestions as to other brands. Im up forever whatever so lay it on me. Thanks :)

It's cold here to do it outside; so I had to do the last one in my basement. I didn't want to sink up the house, so I tried the "green" version from Wal-Mart. It worked fine; though it took longer than the harsher stuff.

Works OK but let it sit for HOURS and sometimes re-apply.
Less smell.

I like Jasco, but the gel kind. Don't get it on your skin because it burns and leaves a red spot. It also eats through gloves if they are not chemical resistant.

I bought a can of chemical stripper foam spray... And bloody hell that stuff is harsh. One whiff of the fumes left me half choking, and when it at through my chemical gloves it instantly lefty a lovely chemical burn on my skin.

If you plan on refinishing the knife anyways, just soak it in 100% acetone for a few days and use a razor blade to get the paint off. Easiest and safest way.

Use citrus based paint removers. They will not stink up your work area, kill your lungs, or increase the likelihood of transdermal poisoning. If you don't have an assortment of gloves yet, you should.

I used Citri-strip and a wire brush to get the junk coating off my Beckers. I didn't let it sit forever either. Took about an hour a blade to get it where I was happy.

I should add the stuff I got was Kleen something brand. Apparently the club lack coating on Cold Steel knives is more stubborn to remove than one would think from how easily it scratches.
