Hello,
I would like advice on Randall knives. I know it is a question of a gamble, but which models increase in value most in % from the purchase price immediately when you get the knife? I know you order knives and then get a knife after 4 years, and pay the price that what was when you ordered. So, I am interested on what knives I can make most money.
Regards,

OmegaA,

If you are talking standard configuration, any fighter and the newer hunters will increase. In special handle knives, ivory is always the best choice, with a Rick Bowles scrim.

Randalls are the hottest and most collectable knife in the world today for a knife that you can actually get. And want to pay the price!!!!!

Rhett

Omega,

In addition to those comments, I would add these...

Dealer Specials
Miniatures
RKS 'Club Knives'
Embellished Knives
and above all else...options, options, options...

As an example: A Model #12-9 'Sportsman Bowie' delivered from almost any authorized RMK dealer today will run you around $445 with the following options. A Model #14 Blade 'Grind', Stainless Steel Blade, Forward Curved Nickel Silver Hilt, Model #25 handle, and Nickel Silver Pommel.

That knife, resold on the secondary market the day after you receive it, will probably gross almost twice what you paid for it. That's the upside, the down side is that you'll be out one very, very nice knife...

Hope that helps,

Shel
